This is probably a dumb question, but are aberrant boas a morph of a red tail boa, or are they two entirely different species? Can they be bred together?

From my understanding they are a fluke morph. They are not genetic but are still red tails. seems people attribute it to inadequate or excessive heat during gestation. Im no expert but thats what i was able to find on them hope it helps.

I've never understood the term, but I've always thought it to mean an unusual, random or out-of-norm pattern.
