We were thinking about vending at the Rt10 show....but we have mostly high end corns....$500+...and I'm not sure there is a market around here for them....what do yall think?

I think it couldn't hurt to try. A few people had a few high end things but not sure how the selling worked out for alot of people...

Well I mean there is no point in paying for a table and not making any sales. lol.

Really I have some more "normal" stuff....as well as a few adults to sell...

Anyone know how much tables are?

Interesting. I didn't know that. Is the permit for selling or just owning? I assume it is because corn's are a native species.

That is correct it's becuase corns are a native species... Im not sure if it's on owning or selling But being Petsmart Petco and other Reptile related store sell corn's I belive it's for selling them not simple ownership... Once again dont qoute me on that but I belive that's correct... Please correct me If I'm wrong

Actually VA requires you to have a permit to own more than 4, or to sell them at all. This also applies to a few other species as well...

There is also a rule that you cannot wholesale any corn above 18" in length. This often gets misinterpreted that you cannot sell any adult corns, but the law actually means that you cannot BUY a corn over 18" for the purpose of resale. I often have to explain this SEVERAL times at every show where I sell adults.

The permit is $10....and well worth it. I've heard stories where VADGIF caught people selling snakes at shows and confiscated them all because they didn't have the proper permit!

can you bring a reptile friend with you if so imma bring my green tree python out with me since hes hand tamed and hell just wrap up on my arm while i drive :arrow:

Last show they said not to bring some but a few people did anyway... Lady brought a wallaby and he was so awesome - show stopper for sure.

Definately check with Vinny - He may not allow them to be brought if they are not in a tub??? Depends I guess. We have been told we could because we are making a trade at the show with one of the other guys that helped Vinny put on the show.

I'll be at the Route10 Expo I'll be with Matthew Miller of Matthew Miller Reptiles and WE WILL HAVE A TON of feeder's if your Looking for something in paticular feeder wise LET ME KNOW BEFORE THE SHOW ( Rat's, Asf's, Mice, F/T Pigs and Rabbit's as well )

( I dont have a steady internet connection Although I do try and check my emails and all forums within 24 hr's of my last log on but it doesnt always happen way So it may take 24-48 hrs for me to respond But I will respond within 48hrs. )

I can't wait for this show. I'm trying to convince my husband to let me get a snake. So far, its still a no, but we shall see. Did anyone go to the last one? Is it a pretty decent sized show, or is it really small? (Kinda like the Richmond show was last Sunday)

It is smaller than the Richmond Expo. Because there is a feud between the two promoters, there will probably be fewer vendors at the Route 10 show this time.

Oh yea the childish feud...

It is a bit smaller than the Richmond show was on Sunday but we will be there. It was overall a great experience last time. They had drawings for different stuff and the overall experience was nice. It wasn't very crowded but it was a good way to meet more locals to the area.


Nick -- you should get cards/flyers made to pass out at the show if Vinny & Troy will let ya promoting this site.

I hit 0.6 pastel het clowns in that clutch...it was crazy! The mojave het clown is 100%, he's about 170 grams right now. Here are the two animals, but I don't want to de-rail the thread.
