The first two pics are from last August. The last pic is from this month. The moonshine rat snake is a locality morph originating from Horry County, SC which is an integration zone between the former subspecies yellow rat snake and the black rat snake. The rat snakes from this area are known as greenish rat snakes. This particular morph is a t + albino and when it reaches maturity is a very bright yellow. I love the yellow eyes on this one!
Believe it or not this particular individual is only one generation removed from wild caught.
