Black Racer hatchling

I found this little one under some old fire wood that I was poking thru at home after work today. Also flipped a adult racer and two copperheads.

Nice! Do they ever musk you?

This little one did not but probably because it was only 75 degress outside. The adult from my previous field herping post only gave a half hearted bite and did not musk but the temperature was about 85 but that one came from underneath almost exactly 20 sheets of tin where it was probably cooler. I have yet to grab one when it has been warmed up to a 95 degree day.
