Issues with Ball Python

Hi there everyone. I have a question about my ball python. I fed him a smaller rat last week and he usually poops within a week after I feed him. I noticed that the end of his body right above the pooper seem to be REALLY swelled up and round for about 3 inches into the middle of his body. Does anybody know what could be wrong with him or anything I could do to help him? I think that the poop may have gotten stuck or something. Can anyone help me please?

If you think he is constipated try soaking him in some warm water. Somtimes that will get things moving pretty quick

Yup, warm bath not warmer than 88-90 for 20-30 minutes.  It shouldn't be much deeper than twice the thickness of it thickest section.  You may have to do it every day for a while. If it starts to look painful, I'd go the vet.

Assuming the little guy isn't constipated, I've noticed that mine will sometimes "hold it" if they're going blue, and then they leave a nice deposit right in the middle of their shed. At least it makes clean-up easy.
