Blood Pythons? Empty
PostSubject: Blood Pythons?   Blood Pythons? EmptyWed Nov 09, 2011 11:49 pm

So, I've been looking into getting a Blood Python, and was wondering how your general experiences with them have been! Smile

I've heard that they're very temperamental, but I don't know too much about them aside from that they're gorgeous.

Any input is appreciated!

yes blood pythons are normally pretty tempermental and i can say you will most likely be bitten by it atleast once but the more you handle them the better they become. i like them too

I have had a few diff. Sized and diff. Morph of bloods. I would have to say it depends alot on the species origins. Obviously wild caught are alot more tempramental so stick to captive born and malaysian bloods ive noticed are better than sumatrans....... wish you well black bloods are awesome..... i suggest.

Years ago I bred Borneo blood (short tailed) pythons. I enjoyed working with them, the only issues I had was keeping the humidity high enough during the winter months. It also took a while to become accustom to their pooping schedule... Usually a long time between BMs.
