| Great finds!
As I'm sure you know, the newts are red-spotted newts. The other salamanders are Northern Dusky Salamanders. | |

| The moth looks like a Ceanothus silkmoth, but that is a western species. Is the moth from VA? | |

| If the moth was found in VA, I think is is Hyalophora euryalus. | |

| I live in a heavily wooded country area next to a river and a creek. I have access to the woods and mountains in our area. Any suggestions for finding some snakes? My grandfather sees black snakes often but I'd love to discover something a bit more interesting. | |
