| I've been looking for a place for bulk feeders since my BP numbers are back up. I'm nothing near what some of you guys have, but I'm unfortunately caught between being too much for the average pet store and being too little for the big suppliers. I know Hampton is probably the largest rodent breeder near me currently and I haven't heard anything negative about them. I have three BPs that absolutely refuse frozen so Hampton is nice because they offer f/t and live, and I could plan to pick them up if my order was not large enough to be delivered. Not to mention, I'm saving up to really expand my collection soon, and I have quite a few growing babies (who can only eat pups for so long!) so feeding is only going to get more expensive. I'm mostly wondering if anyone here knows if they have a minimum order amount? Like I said, I'm not anywhere near the point where I'm needing hundreds of feeders a week, so I don't know if they would be willing to do it. I am going through $60 of feeders a week at the local stores, so I'm wondering if this place would be cheaper. Or if any of you know somewhere that is cheaper than a pet store and offers frozen and live feeders, feel free to share your experiences. Thanks for any info | |

| Matt is a great guy and his rats are fine, but the last three times I've needed live, he hasn't had any available. You can give him a try. If he has stock, I usually buy from him. | |

| The guy at the Hampton Mousery is very, very rude. Some say he can be nice, but after the way he treated us on the phone, I never looked back. However, if it wasn't for him doing what he did, I would have never of started breeding rats. | |

| I heard that and more Nick... But again everyone has their own experiences and thoughts on people... I say it's worth a shot and if you have a bad experience don't use them again... sometimes people just have a bad day... | |

| Thanks for all the input you guys. I'll definitely keep your experience with him in mind, if I use Hampton, Nick.
How about Matt? Does he have a 'minimum' in orders? | |

| Hey, he might have great rats and dependability, but he's like fast food service, "be ready at the window" | |

| me too... I cringe when we go through the drive thru... and when they ask you to "pull up and wait at the curb" and Miles says "No" I immediately lose my appetite. Anyway, You could have a great experience with him. We personally have not dealt with him and have only heard from other people who have and most of it was not pleasant news.. but everyone has different experiences so you could have a wonderful experience and relations with him.. It doesn't hurt to try it out and see how it is... | |

| Yeah he said it's because they are supposed to get customers thru the line in a certain amount of time and if you just sit there with other orders waiting for you it holds up their store goal thing or whatever... I gladly pull up and wait... | |

| I just like to imagine it means I'm getting new, delicious fries instead of ones that have been under a heat lamp for a few hours | |

| I wish that was the case... I think the ONLY place I have never been asked to "please pull up to the curb and wait" is Chick-fil-A... | |

| I will I'm thinking of trying to switch all my guys to f/t (AGAIN ughhhh) in the hopes that I can start getting shipments of frozen and I can buy all my food on my payday, instead of having to budget for it after all my bills are done :c Not to mention, f/t is usually cheaper than live. Plus if I find a provider with good prices farther away I do that.. | |
