if u happen to be near the beach i am going to overnight as many opposition letters to sb477 to david means so he can hand deliver them to the senate hearing. i can pick them up from u or meet u or u can drop them off to pet paradise on kellam road in virginia beach. u can pm me if necessary. i would like to overnight them on saturday afternoon so they reach david by monday morning. i'll pay the shipping just please have them in an envelope and hand sign them. update. i will be mailing the letters i have compiled to david on monday morning. the hearing for sb477 is slated for thursday. the guys at pet paradise have actually gone the extra mile and have letters for signature as well as letters in opposition to the proposed bill 1242. they are asking everyone to sign 2 of each for mailing and hand delivery. they will be traveling to richmond for the hearing thursday morning. if anyone is in the area of virginia beach please take a moment and stop by to sign a letter if u have not already. they also have lists of emails and phone #s. so far their attempts at calling and email have gotten responses from Sen Blevins and Sen. Black in opposition to both bills. everyone else was a secretary response of "I'll let them know." please show your opposition anyway u can. thanks guys.

I will be going to the meeting on Tuesday, that I had posted about if anyone is interested in catching a ride with me, or if you want me to take anything up there with me. I will also be going on Thursday to Richmond. If anyone needs me to take anything or whatever, let me know!

just attended a local meeting at pet paradise put on by VIIPERS. to my pleasant surprise about 40 people from the herp community showed up. they mainly went over how to get our point across to the state in a rational educated manner. overall a good meeting for the area. now just to see how many people can actually get to the hearings and committees. i think numbers of people present are what is gonna win this battle.

Anyone know if these are still the key senators for this year?
