| This is Tak, my dinker ball python. He's around 250g and I'm just waiting till he gets some size on him so I can introduce him to the ladies. Head Shot Belly Shot Without Flash With Flash Close Up Another Close Up Bought him as a normal at a local pet store. Some have said he looks like a Black Pastel. I guess we will see. | |

| Thanks! He's producing sperm plugs but he needs to get some size on him. He's eating one large mouse a week. I tried offering him a very small, small rat tonight but he was having none of it. | |

| A dinker ball is something you think might have a genetic color or pattern but it's not proven yet. If this guy produces some offspring that look like him, then he could be something genetic like a black pastel. | |

| A dinker is a normal snake you wanna "dink around" with in hope it proves to be something special. Here's a dinker I am working with that is very similar but more black pastelish. http://www.vaherps.com/t38-check-out-this-guys-head-spot?highlight=head+spotBecause of the head on yours being so light and the hue, it looks more cinnamon like. But who knows! I would breed it with a visual recessive so if it proves genetic, you will have hets of that "new" morph. Then I would cross him with a cinny or black pastel to see if it shares the same gene and produces a super Good luck for sure! | |

| I was thinking of breeding him to a normal this season and maybe my pinstripe. I have no recessives to breed him to at the moment. I figure if I breed him to a pinstripe, any babies that carry his "dinker" gene will be darker and obvious. (much like the cinnamon or black pastel pinstripes) | |

| He is very nice. Good Luck. He does look a little like our cinny but not quite as dark. | |

| I love it when "normals" wind up being anything but.
He looks great, has some gorgeous fading in him. He reminds me of a Cinny.

| I got him from a local Petsmart I used to work for. If I'm not mistaken, Petsmart sells captive hatched babies, so he could be something. Or just a pretty normal. Either way, I love how he looks. He looks so much better in person.
His blushing and flames are getting brighter with each shed. When I got him as an 80g baby he had quite a lot of blushing and I knew he looked different from the other normals, but as he's growing its becoming more and more obvious. I'll snap a picture this weekend of him beside a few of my normals.

| I can tell you that you need to get a female of any BEL complex to prove him out. I will bet $$ that he will make a white snake if you breed him to any of the BEL complex | |
