| Does anybody know anywhere in the NOVA area where I could buy big bags of rat food for around $20 a bag? Do you think Southern States Feed Supply would sell them? Does anybody know any good feed stores that I could contact? thanks | |

| I feed mine dog food called "doggy bag".40 pounds of it for $14. It's got no weird dye colors in it but its a super cheap dog food and though I'd never feed it to my own dogs Its great for rats cause of all the wheat, corn and grains in it. | |

You can buy Mazuri for just about the same price and it's much better for you rats. Mazuri is 20 bucks a bag for 50lbs. You're paying about 35 cents a pound for dog food and the Mazuri is about 40 cents a pound.

| Neeckow, up by me theres a place called Fins and Feathers, they may be able to order it for you. I'm swinging by there in the next couple of days to get some stuff for my roaches, I can ask them for you if you'd like. | |

I go from Newport News to Suffolk for Mazuri but I buy enough to make it worth the trip. I normally buy 500-600 pounds and only make the trip once every 3 months or so. As a bonus they sell the best homemade chocolate covered peanuts you will ever eat.

| Max, just to clarify what I interpreted from your post, you bought Suffolks last bag for the year, meaning they are out or stopped selling??? I have to go soon and always forget to call in advance. (I think one time I must have showed up after one of Clays hoarding splurges ) | |

| I am about to get a few females and males this week. I just started to build my rack and still need to order my 200 pounds of food and waterbottles and then go pick up a truck load of bedding. I will be breeding them by the end of this weekend coming up Mark. | |

| Loudoun county. I will have to let you know. Somehow Bertha, my bp, got out last night and even after countless hours of tearing the house apart, she is no where to be seen i have a sliding lock tank for her but somehow she slid it off and squirmed out... -.- | |

| I have two dogs who are very fiesty when it comes to other animals. I think she's still in my bedroom as it is 60 degrees downstairs and 80 in there lol. I put a couple traps around and going to stay up all night waiting for her to come out.
It was funny. Last night I had a dream about a bunch of snakes then I woke up to a tickling on my foot that was dangling off my bed. I think she said 'daddy its almost time for work! Get up so I can hide!' Lol...

| that is what happened to my friends bp and it was out for about a month. He found it in his sisters bathroom taking a stroll. Just keep looking and you will find her. Maybe if you got a live rat and put it in a cage she might come to that. Someone told me that it actually worked. Good luck. | |
