W00T! New hognose finally ate

A friend is moving to Hawaii and can't take any of his snakes so we ended up with his eight month old western hognose and its enclosure three weeks ago. The little guy had been refusing food and I was starting to worry since he supposedly was eating fine before we got him. The only change we made to his enclosure was to replace the reptile carpet with aspen since these snakes really like to burrow.

Last night he finally took a pinkie.   

My daughter named him Camo since even when he's on top of the aspen you can barely see him due to his color.

We've been holding off on handling, pics, etc. to give him time to settle in since he was off food. We'll get some once he takes a few more meals.
