Bad guys

I know that this is not a Fauna type forum, but this is local to many of us and we need to be aware of these guys. I'm glad they were caught and disappointed that their sentences were reduced from felonies to misdemeanors.

B&E and felony theft and sale of stolen goods and they get a slap on the wrist?

Agree Attack donut bet if it was a pocket dog or something they would be going to prison for a longer time. and if i read that right they have to do 30 days in jail...on weekends......wtf

Here's the funny thing. In some cities, weekend jail is nothing more than community service and you get to go home at night. Some cities, you stay all weekend locked up. I hope these guys received the latter.

The two young men should be punished and pay restitution to the victim. I think in this case being charged with a felony would be too severe a penalty. A felony charge would have a life-long negative impact on their lives. Hopefully, the judge made it clear that they were getting a lenient sentence and if they screw-up again s(he) would throw the book at them.

I think instead of 30 days in jail, served over the weekends, these cretins should spend their weekends cleaning up after the animals in that pet store as restitution.

Yes, good idea. And next time it happens, felony too. I thought breaking, entering and petty theft were more punished than just 30 days in jail in VA.
