Rat Cabinet 2.0

Some people look at me crazy when I say I breed rats in my snake room. They look at me even crazier when I say I keep them in a cabinet. Here's the second version of my rat cabinet finally finished. Well, there are a few more tweaks but they are hard to notice in the video

I think that is much better than the first one. The vent will keep the smell out and give the rats fresh air. I would worry that no light cycle might make them go off breeding. I'm interested to hear how it works out.

RC 1.0 never had any breeding issues without light. I think they are nocturnal too.

It's suppose to draw air from the bottom but I have to get some smaller hinge screws. The carpet gasket would seal tighter then.

That's awesome, I'm sure it will cut down on the smell.

thats a nice setup. how bad does the smell permeate the room? does the enclosure keep the smell relatively low?
