Fear Factor

I don't watch this show, but because of the uproar in the reptile community, I learned about it and watched the show on the web (http://www.nbc.com/fear-factor/video/snake-bite/1376178/). The owner of the snakes (https://www.facebook.com/#!/ReptileIsland) has been spending a ton of time trying to justify and explain what they did. Bet they wish they could have a do over. I can't for the life of me understand why they would allow all of those snakes to be put into one bin on top of each other, then allow them to be picked up by the mouth. What if they fell and got trampled on, what if they got bit too hard, what if the bigger snakes crushed the little ones or the person shifted and crushed some babies. I just don't get it. I guess as long as it is snakes, rather than puppies, kittens or rabbits, it is OK.

Wait, what happened? I didn't even know this show was back.

I would like to see animals removed from all "stupid human tricks". If they want to do something dangerous, play with gasoline, electricity, sharp objects, etc.

You gotta watch it. They dump 500 Ball Pythons, Boas, etc. into a box with a person. Then the boy friend or girl friend has to pick up snakes with their mouth and move them to another container where they are weighed. The one with the most weight wins. Here is a short version:

Wtf! They are actually biting these poor snakes? I think fear factor has run out of ideas and needs to stop airing crap like this. And it's ok because it's just some stupid snakes? That's wrong......

Oh, have you guys seen Jackaxx 3? I guess Bam has a fear of snakes so they make him fall into about 8ft into a pit of fake snakes, then dump about 100lbs of various snakes, from burms to colubrids, about 10ft down onto him. He freaks out and stomps all over them trying to get out.

Nick, I watched the first Jackaxx movie and it seemed kind of pointless to me. So, I never watched another one. From your description, I'm glad I didn't.

I saw previews for that episode Don but didn't watch it. I dont know when it even comes on but was concerned about what was going to happen... it really pees me off to hear that.

I didnt watch any of the other Jackaxx movies... but glad I didnt see that one Nick.. People are so... uneducated and stupid about this.

The justafaction had to be money. But why would you do that to your animals, surely thay would make more by breeding then they did this way.

I'm sorry but most of those shows are completely f'd up! I don't watch them but a lady at work comes in and asked me if all scorpions are poisonous (pointing to Sanford the entire time) and if so how did they let the people eat them on Fear Factor? Apparently, it was the season premier and they had people eating live scorpions! If you want to go do something stupid to make money, do not involve living creatures, it infuriates me what some humans will do for money and a laugh!!!!

Argh! It makes me so angry!!! They are just chucking the snakes in there! All different species mixed around. What if people were picking up human babies with their teeth...bet that would make an outcry.
I HATE fear factor and I hate the people on it. : P

Life just isn't fair or the people who promote the irrational fear of snakes would all be thrown into a meat grinder.
