| I messaged these guys a long time ago asking if they cared if I posted pictures. I haven't gotten a response, but there's nothing that says I can't and I followed all of their photography rules (no flash, no tapping glass, etc). So, finally, over a year later, here are the pictures! I apologize if I have any of the species wrong, as it's been a while and I'm going on memory. They're nothing special, just some iPhone shots, but some of them turned out pretty good Emerald Tree Boa American Alligator (?) Fer-De-Lance Fer-De-Lance Fer-De-Lance Spitting Cobra (?) Green Iguana I love his "...Seriously?" expression Eyelash Viper Eyelash Viper Eyelash Vipers Green Anaconda (Ignore the Nile Monitor sign lol he was next to the Anaconda) This Puff Adder is one of my favorite snakes there. He is so amazingly photogenic. Like I said, total camera-ham Puff Adder A yawning Retic, with a Boa in the back and to the foreground? GUMMYWORM, their mascot, an Albino Burm! This GTP had his face squished against the glass for no clear reason lol I think this is a big ol' Gator. Not 100% sure though. I <3 Gaboon Vipers Their smaller King Cobra Nile Croc... ? This little Green Mamba was adorable. I have a short video of him bobbing his head back and forth c: Sleeping Black Throat Monitor "Bubble Boy," The Salt-Water Croc Bubble Boy Miss Daisy, the Nile Croc Daisy The woman next to me was going for the 'hand-in-the-mouth' picture lol The biiiiiiig King Cobra. Very smart, very scary He's about 16-18'. He was hard to get a good picture of lol | |

| Enjoyed your photos! All the crocodilian photos appear to be crocodiles. Alligators (A) have an over-bite that typically hides the teeth on the bottom jaw. In crocodiles (B) the enlarged fourth tooth fits into a depression in the upper jaw. | |

| I LOVE this place I try to go every year whenever I go on my family vacation. It's in Wilmington, NC. It's pretty cheap to get in and they do feedings every Saturday. They have a lot of animals and they're well-cared for. The people there are really nice and are willing to answer any questions with in-depth and accurate explanations. I LOVE going and seeing what new things they've acquired. I really recommend it if anyone is in the area c: Here is their site, if anyone wants it. They also have a Facebook. http://www.capefearserpentarium.com/The owner is a HUGE fan of Bushmasters. Their Bushmaster collection is pretty famous, and they've done a lot of research for conservation and venom work with the species. | |
