| Hello I'm looking for an alligator snapping turtle. The smaller the better so I can watch it grow. If you know anyone or know where I can look, your help is appreciated. Thanks | |

| I believe that is illegal to sell them anywhere in the U.S. as they are protected. | |

| You are correct! I did find some for sale but I really do not like Turtleman. | |

| Last time I went to the Hamburg show hatchlings were plentiful a reasonably priced. They are an amazing animal, but the responsibility is huge with these guys. As I'm sure you know, they are extremely long lived animals, and will require a very large container in the not to distant future. | |

| Luckily they grow slow. About a half inch to an inch a year depending on gender.
