| Hey guys,
I'm currently in Amherst/Lovingston Virginia, near Lynchburg. I can't find any feeder rodents that I can afford. Usually I buy my feeders near Yorktown. I need some feeders now, and I can't drive 4 hours to get them! Does anyone here have feeders for sale? I also have a snake I would trade for them. My snakes are HUNGRY, but Petsmart doesn't cut it! (11 bucks for some puny mouse pinks!)

| Actually I'm thinking of going to the expo as well! Maybe I can meet you there for fun. I spend a lot of time in Yorktown anyway. It'd be great if some of us from the forum could get together for dinner or something after the show! | |

I tried a guy in Richmond but he wont respond to any of my e-mails.

| Well I bought some at Animal Jungle last time, but that is quite a trip and always involves at least one traffic jam! I found another source but may have to look them up again. I just know there are many more sellers on that side of Virginia than this one!
And yes! Snakes and Steaks strikes back! Anyone interested in crested geckos, a pastel ball python, or a het vpi axanthic should tell me and I'll bring them to the show. : P

| I don't know if you will be able to bring your own herps into the show.. most shows you cannot? While in Richmond, check out Off The Ark - they may have feeders available? The are located in Chester which I don't believe is TOO terribly far from Richmond... http://www.offthearkexoticpets.com/ | |

| I can bring them TO the show, just not necessarily INTO the show, got me? I may do that. Do you think their prices will be cheaper than whatever's being sold in the show? Guess I'll find out! | |

| It wouldn't hurt to see what is being sold at the show. I don't know their hours on Sundays but I can't see them closing before the show is over. The owner Vinny of Off the Ark is a very nice guy | |

| You can almost always bring animals into shows... It's hard to trade if you can't bring stuff in!
As far as feeders out there, I don't know. I do know that Mark Venhorst (Boamaster) is located near Lynchburg so you might try giving him a call?

Is that for small shows. I know at Tinley and Hamburg there were issues with bringing stuff in unless you specifically were meeting with a vendor. At Tinley we were escorted in to the vendor we were meeting with our Albino female and he had to confirm he was meeting us. And I see signs posted at shows or on their websites about not bringing in animals. I guess I learned something new today

| I think at the Richmond show, they just ask you keep it in a container of some sort. I remember one time I was there, some guy had this huge boa with him, just draped around his shoulders and he was told he couldn't have it out like that. I'm sure if you had snakes in deli cups or a snake bag, no one would say anything. | |

That's pretty much it... Just say you're bringing it in for a trade and most of the time they won't bother you as long as A. the animal you have with you is legal in that state and B. It's in a container Hamburg is tricky because of the whole "sold" sticker thing... but they can give you one at the door as you walk in so that nobody thinks you stole your own animal from somebody

| hey, a buddy of mine, ryan, works in a pet store called animal adeventure in va beach. i usually get my feeders from him. his mice are like 1.69 for mediums. he told me yesterday that if you buy frozens in bulk price goes down significantly... he's a pretty resonable guy. maybe if your down this way someetime you could stop in and try to cut a deal. i've known him for about a year now and i havnt ever had any problems with him. very easy to talk to as well. | |
