Is there any real difference between fire and sulfur? I've heard there's not and you will still get black eyed lucys breeding the two "different" morphs together. Just curious.

Not sure yet. Supposedly, the sulfur produces a "higher yellow" BEL. The sire to my super had a redicoulous amount of yellow, but mine had about an average amount and I've seen super fires with more. Mine is also a possible mojave so I'm not sure if that's plays into it. I haven't found any info on a sulfur/fire pairing yet but I know one guy that had a clutch a while back and I need to follow up with him. I think they are the same thing and David Reed just happened to prove out a WC or mislabeled fire. I almost tried a sulfur/fire pairing this year but reall don't want to be unsure about the offspring just in case they do end up different. Someone might be pissed at me in a few years

I think if there is a difference, we will see it come out with the similar genes combos like the vanillas, discos, etc. The one vanilla (sulfur) cream clutch I've seen produced do appear different than the vanilla (fire) creams that I have seen but there are always variations.
