Carpet Python Empty
PostSubject: Carpet Python   Carpet Python EmptyTue Nov 13, 2012 11:38 am

So I got me a 2012 Tiger-Jaguar carpet at the hampton roads expo and I have got to say that she is quickly becoming my favorite snake. This my first carpet so I didn't know what to expect. I was always told that they are a bit nippy as hatchlings. She does seem to give you that look of "I dare you to stick your hand in here". She has yet to bite me but I have been touching her head with a hook before I reach in there and she really seems to be picking up on that. I have never met such an inquisitive snake before. She seems to want to check every thing out. It is pretty awesome. I suggest to anyone that is looking for a different snake to add to their collection, definately check out a carpet python. Here is a not so great pic of her.

Thanks guys!

Chris, I don't have any info on the lineage. She was a trade and I didn't know too much about the different morphs and localities and what not, I only knew about the husbandry.
