NARBC Tinley Park, IL - October 13-14, 2012

So we booked our flights, hotel, and rental car last night

Flying round trip and a friend who is going will bring back any purchases we make.

Super Oober excited however I have never been on a plane before and get anxiety thinking of it...

Time to save up the rest of the money I can - woo hoo!

As far as flying goes, if you're really nervous, try to get a window seat. It really does help. I don't really get 'flying' anxiety, so much as I get 'stuck in a flying metal tube with a bunch of people' anxiety. I usually leave my headphones in the whole time and listen to music while I read.

Hopefully you'll get a large plane, they tend to fly a little bit more smoothly. Taking off is probably the strangest-feeling part of it.

You can always keep your mind at ease thinking of how awesome the show is going to be and how excited you'll be to get your hands back on your new snakes when you're home!

I am making an appt with my dr to get xanax or a sedative... apparently we have night flights out and should arrive in chicago o'hare around 11 something if all goes well...

I have a few things I'd like to check out while out there.... aside from just the reptile show and the 2 story target like last time.

Good idea! I always try to sleep through flights (the rare times I have to fly for family stuff), but I already have pretty bad insomnia, so I usually wind up thinking too much and not being able to doze off. ><

Definitely take lots of pictures!!

I wont be going to the Tinely NARBC but i will be at Anaheim Next week I cant wait!! Got some money saved up hoping to score big!!!!

It's coming up this weekend! Who all is going?
We fly out Friday night and will fly home Monday night.
We have a few things planned to do while we are there (including visiting the 2 story Target again)
I am off work Thursday (tomorrow) through Tuesday and am really looking forward to the time away... especially from work.
We are hoping to find a nice Male Pinstripe Albino and of course whatever else we stumble upon while there

Not this year for me.
