| Your opinion's on which is better for your reptile's Mice or Rats? I prefer and use rat's for my Bp's I find them more nutritious for them, I prefer not to feed mice and well dont | |

| Try tricking them into eating the rat let them constrict the mouse when the let go and move switch the mouse out with the rat ( has to be done quickly ) I've used this and it's worked sometime's sometime's it didn't... but every thing I have is eating rat's... cept the burm's | |

| Another trick I have used, is feeding the snake a mouse and then immediately followed up with a smaller sized rat. After a few rats they get use to them... at least for the one snake I tried it on. | |

| I have one that will only eat mice, and my mojo will eat mice a lot and every once in a while she will eat a rat but it has to have some dark color in it. all white will never be touched. | |

Yup sometime's the color of the rat does play into it not sure why it does but I too have heard from other breeder's and Bp keeper's that they have had simular problem's but then again anyone who keep's Bp's should know that they are and can be finiky eaters... | |
