Christmas light shows

I use to do these as a kid and figured I would take my son. Anyone have suggestions?

we used to ride around and look... I think this year we might take Alyssa to a few places other than botanical gardens and the beach... havent been to one like that before... it's hard to find good neighborhoods with alot of lights up though.

There a block of house that decorates the whole street everyday, it's over by tall wood high. I'll look tonight to see if there up and running yet. We always walk it with or without the grandkids. We also use to do the beach and gardens every year but it never seems to change.

Went by there tonight, man has it changed this year. Only about 4 or 5 house done up big time. All the rest have scaled way down to normal lighting or none at all. Think it a money thing the electric bill and all.

We went to the ones at the beach Friday and it was the same as it always is... we may go out this weekend and check around different neighborhoods.

Thats what we did after the let down. we found a few scarted house in my neck of the woods that look good. We may go out your way next.

I am sure the houses out in Hickory and Great Bridge area are probably really decorated.. my little Indian River area doesnt do a whole lot... my parents house is pretty well decorated though lol.
