I can believe it. Honey bees are venomous and catfish can kill with the bacteria in their fin spikes.

Unfortunately, the term "venomous" describes a wide range of toxins, from deadly to humans to medically insignificant. Unfortunately, I think when the general public hears the term "venomous" they assume deadly. I think a new term of some sort should be created represent organisms that are technically venomous, but are also medically insignificant to the vast majority of humans.
