BP feeding Empty
PostSubject: BP feeding   BP feeding EmptySun Aug 11, 2013 6:23 pm

Has anybody ever had a BP that would not eat rats of a certain color? I have offered on several occasions a black/gray rat to one of mine and he seems scared of them, but when I give him a solid white rat, he has no problems eating it. I know that nothing is wrong with him, but it seems kinda weird/funny. Any thoughts?

I've had one a few years back that wouldn't eat white rats. She was a picky eater anyway and would only eat one non-white rat a month.

I've had one here or there that would only eat certain colors. The ones I dislike more are the ones that only eat mice. Got one now eat 10 mice all day long. But will not touch even a rat crawler.

Have you tried ASF's instead of rats? I got a mouser to switch to those at least, one ASF is a ton cheaper than 10 mice.

No I don't mess with ASF's. This snake came to me as a mouser. I've tryed to change her over many times. Imprint feeders.
