Ironic that I am here AFTER rehoming my geckos! For the past 18 months until today I was a mom to one Leopard Gecko and one Crestie. Love, love the Cresties! Started out agreeing to let my 10 year old son get a Leo if he "wrote up a proposal and created a habitat for it". He did a great job and I relented - at the time I was still in "yuck-reptile" mode. Fast forward to a month later and I found myself sheepishly buying my own gecko, the Crestie, and fell in love with all things New Caledonian Smile. Unfortunately we have travel and possible military orders upcoming and I don't want to subject the geckos to a stressful move so they were rehomed today to a member of this forum. I'm enjoying reading about everyone's herps and know I will be returning to the hobby someday so until then I will enjoy the forum as a reader Smile

Haha, welcome Erin! Rest assured that your geckos will have great homes and care. In the meantime you'll be able to learn an enormous amount of info and get fresh ideas from this site - I've only been a member for about a month or so, and I sure have learned plenty more.
