BBQ?

Alright y'all... We discused this in a different thread but I just wanted to start a new one to clean up the comotion that went on in the other one haha

I am completely capable for hosting a BBQ at my house. I just need to know when everyone would like to do it (so I have a time frame to get my pool cleaned ) and who all would like to come!

If y'all could just start posting here to let me know what days (or specific day) is best for you and if your a "for sure" for coming!

I would come, and depending on how soon depends on when I could make it, weekends will be best considering I go back to the squad soon...

week ends would be best for me and my wife, granted I don;t know if she will make it or not she leaves next week for a 3 week tour/training thing. An just let me know what to bring aside from the kids

i work mon-fri 8-5 so anything on weekend works for me. ^_^

Honestly Ryan i'd love to see one every month, but thats probly because i just moved here and have no friends....unless you count marco my rat dealer....lol

Hahaha well Im up for it also. Just gonna be a little trickier in the later months cause Ill be going on a few dets to get ready for a deployment coming up Feb of next year.

my wife has 3 weeks in may 3 weeks in june then in july she leaves and won't be back til march. If we did one the first week in july we could host. parking would be fun but i could host, and then Marco i know wnated to do one so there are plenty of options for doing more then one over the summer, back home the reptile cook out and show was the same day. It was held at a hotel and we had a company bring in burgers and dogs, we would shop eat lunch then shop some more talk and BS, then after we would go to the hotel bar 2 doors down watch the sunday night game and have a drink. But from what i gathered Hampton roads only has a show about twice a year, and richmond.....well i hate the tunnels....traffic in this town with my road rage isn't turning out to good.

The next Hampton show is June 2nd. The next Richmond show is 7/28/2013. Not sure if you want to have them near those events or not. Just adding information.

The only problem I see with doing it on a show day, is that members vending the show can't attend and attendees go different times during the day. Maybe an evening BBQ or the day before would be better IMO.

Nick, I was thinking the same thing but thought I'd mention it. Vending drains me. I'm on my feet all day and stressed out about my animals. After the show, I want to get my animals back home and put in their homes to make them comfortable. Not to mention that I have to put away all of the show displays, lights, etc. etc. Even the day before, I'm working on getting everything ready. It would be hard either way for me.

i i wasn't suggesting doing it the same day god knows i don;t wanna drive to Richmond then back home and try to do that kind of stuff. Just in Cincinnati it was just how we did it since some vendors and friends was from further away. Christopher Mcmillian (friend and person i bought my savs from) ran it he was from Main so him driving down just for the cook out would be a pain. I would say avoid the Shows by about a week or so. Down here or at least on this forum we are all in the same state no reason to try and fit some much into one day.

How about a BYOB BBQ either tomorrow or Sunday at my place? I'll be home anyway and wouldn't mind hanging out with some beers and a fired up grill..

I didn't hear anything from anybody yet. As I said, let me know that you're coming over and pitch in with the BBQ stuff and we'll hang out at my place. Bring kids if you want to, I'll go and get the charcoal and some sausages if somebody plans on coming over..

Whatever you guys want to bring. I'll go shopping here in a minute and will get some charcoal sausages and some macaroni salad. I only have a few beers here and some white muscato. Does 3:30 to 4pm sound good?

Damn, I just saw this. Wish I had known bit earlier. I am on Grandma duty but could have easilly woked it out to be there. Maybe next time guys. I'd love to meet everyone.
