The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) did an expose on the Nature Club I started at my job over at the HHMI Janelia Farm Research Campus, and the video that they made on my Herpetology trips has now made it on the Home Page of the Janelia Farm Research Campus website... Smile

What I found really interesting is you found box turtles quite easily in the wild when everything I've heard about them since I've been in VA was negative, very endangered, etc. So it's positive I guess and due to what?! Misinformation and/or public vigilance...?

Love it! Great press for reptiles.

I do have a question about the surveys. Do you collect the reptiles and bring them to a central location? If you do, how do you ensure they get back to their home?
