Unprinted newspaper

So I really would like to buy some unprinted newspaper for my snakes. I have a problem with a few of them that absolutely refuse to stop tipping their water bowls no matter what kind I use and where I put them in their enclosures, despite the tubs being the proper size.

The problem that I have is that they're staining themselves horribly. My pastel always dyes her stomach brown/grey and overall darkens herself and makes herself look horrible. My albino boy always winds up pink or orange. It's hilarious looking, and they're both fine by the next shed, but I have gotten pretty tired of how ugly they get by making a mess.

I know unprinted newspaper is sold in big rolls, and I can't imagine it's too expensive, but I don't know how to go about getting it. Anyone here ever hear about using this and/or where to get it?

I think most newspapers sell it and it's pretty cheap. I believe it's called the end rolls. Your best bet would be to call a couple of your local newspapers and ask where to pick it up.

Bogus Paper is a good alternative. It's a little thicker than newspaper and also comes in unprinted rolls.

Thanks! I live really close to where the Richmond Times is printed, so I'll probably call up there and see if they'd be willing to sell me any. I think I'm going to look up bogus paper now.

Thanks! Wow, that's pretty cheap. I'm seriously going to look into getting some of this. I'm so tired of having a pink snake (at least one that isn't a coral or something!) lol

I use bogus paper (with a cutter). One of the best moves I ever made in my racks. The bogus paper fits the bottom of my tubs perfectly. I can change out a tub in about a minute. There are two thicknesses, I get the heavier one. Stuff works great.

I need the paper and a roller now that iam all racks. Don you told me once where you get yours. But I can't find that note. Where do you get yours?

I was going to buy from Uline, but the only shipping option was very expensive.
