| Well, I wanted to get vacuum sealed frozen rats so they would last a long time. So, I placed an order for more than $300 worth of rats from Loxahatchee Rodent. I read good things about them. Well today, I received my order. I got four packs of mouse pinkies, when I ordered four packs of rat pinkies. Also, two of the bags were not vacuum sealed or the seal was not done properly. I've emailed them and will see how they address the issue. With RodentPro off my buy list, I was and am hoping that these people could do the job. I am going to give them a chance to fix it and see how it goes. If it doesn't go well, my next order will be with Big Cheese. | |

| Hope things work out. Anyone can make a mistake and it could simply be just bad luck on that one. Let us know how it works out. | |

| I want vacuum sealed to maintain freshness. I don't know of anyone local that does that. | |

| I'd like to see one of the product makers use that in a commercial. It's always steak and never freezer burned rats they show. | |

| In fact does anyone know any good local suppliers in the tri-cities area? I have been getting my frozens from Off The Ark. But if there is one closer I may go there. | |

Need to freeze small animals for your customers' hungry herps?? Never fear! New -insert brand name here- Vaccuum Sealing maintains that freshness that your snakes (and theirs!) will love! It'll smell like you've just offed it yourself, your herp will NEVER KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! Got picky eaters? No problem here! Snakes refusing frozen/thawed?? No more fretting!

Tried that. Too much work. I'd rather just buy.

| Loxahatchee contacted me this morning and is replacing the pinkies at no cost. They said to just donate the mice pinkies to someone else. They also seemed to be willing to work with me on the other to packs that lost the vacuum seal, but I'll probably use those before they go bad. So, I'll probably buy from them again. They seem to stand behind their stuff. Here's their website: http://loxahatcheerodents.com/products.htm | |

| Excellent! It says a lot about a company to recognize their mistakes and correct them in whatever way they can. | |

| Yes, it all works out. I contacted the Va Reptile Rescue to see if they can use the mouse pinkies. If so, I'm going to donate them. Not looking to make a profit on Loxahatchee's mistake. | |
