2012 Male Mojave

Picked him up in March from the Richmond show. Hes always just looked like a really nicely colored normal, but he shed just a few days ago and is finally starting to smoke out and turn pale gold and burgundy. Super excited that he is, in fact, a Mojave. I was starting to wonder! He's not one of the 'Holy crap, I need that NOW' Mojaves, as his pattern is just about normal, no super-reduced or crazy flaming. But his blushing has always been nice and his gold is intense.

I <3 my baby Asmodeus and now he's finally growing into his 'big boy' colors! Too bad he still doesn't photograph well. I'm mostly just proud of him because he was the first baby I bought who hadn't shed or eaten (was discounted for it, the guy was honest about it) and I was so nervous for him. He's been such a good baby

Me too! I was beginning to worry I'd paid a Mojave price for a normal male. But he is so sweet, and his black is gorgeous. I love him. I can't wait until he's breedable. I have a Lesser girl waiting on him

I can only imagine the frustration you would be in if it wasn't an actual Mojave. I know you wouldn't be mad at the snake. It has done nothing but be its snakey self. But there would be a sense of disappointment. I love the name by the way.

He doesn't photograph well XD He looks like a normal in my pictures, but in person he's really coming along. His black is super smooth and velvet and is blushing to burgundy. His gold used to be really high yellow but now it's a really intense pale gold color. I'll try to get a good picture of him in the daylight tomorrow.

I know! One of my favorite 'classic' morphs.

I <3 him. He's the youngest I've ever had and I started him myself. He was so small back in March! Not to mention I've wanted a Mojave x Lesser BEL since I started collecting BPs. That morph was the first one I found that stopped me dead in my tracks and made me just stare. When the Mojave morph finally went down in price and I found them in my price range, this little guy just seemed perfect. He was so small and so sweet compared to all the other snappy little babies I was seeing. His pattern isn't one of those phenomenal Mojaves, but his colors are so intense and he has such a great personality. I love my little 'normal' Mojo!

I'll upload some more that I just took of him. Those are a little bit older, from a few weeks ago. My phone and laptop haven't been playing nice with each other as far as uploading go, so they were the most recent I had of him. I'm trying a different upload method so I'm hoping I can get them to play nice lol I think they finally learned that my phone is an Apple and my laptop is a PC.

Affffter my computer apparently finishes importing all 450 pictures from my phone..... Crap.

I love his gold. It's really intense but like I said, he doesn't photograph well XD His eyes are actually really dark silver.

Really? I always just kind of thought he was an 'okay' Mojave, because he doesn't have that high side-flaming or spacey pattern that most of the crazy ones I've seen have. Hmm.. Maybe I'll pair him with a Mojave girl when he grows up instead of our Lesser... Just to see what happens. Either white or potion.... Not bad odds! lol

If he is a Mystic (which I'm going to assume 'no' for now, until proving otherwise, just to be safe and prevent myself a potential disappointment), maybe he came from a Mystic x Mojave clutch? I imagine they're probably very difficult to distinguish that young. I could definitely see how the two would look very similar as neonates.

Huh, maybe I'll look at a ton of Mojaves and Mystics, just to see if I can figure it out. I've seen both that look like him, so it may have to wait another year or two until he breeds

if it is a mojo i dont care for the far spaced out pattern unless it is super reduced. i like busy stuff. and if its a mystic then thats awesome too lol. i want a potion if you get one. i might be picking myself up a female mystic soon as well

now they all vary in color / shading/ and flames so its a possibility is all im saying. prolly a mojo if you bought it as such but its always cool to get a surprise.!!

Yeah, he definitely looks a LOT like that snake. I've been trying to find belly shots for comparison, but all that it's leaving me with is more questions lol He has a clean belly, but with a few scattered spots in it. Which apparently means he could go either way. I guess I'll have to wait and see what he does with a Lesser girl, unless I come across a nice female Mojo to add to my collection It would be some phenomenal luck if he did prove to be a Mystic! I wish I had been smart enough at the time to ask what the pairing on him was, but it was before I knew about Mystics, so I didn't really think anything of him.

if its a mystic you gotta give me one of the babies for believing in you! ! and mystic x lesser will give you BEL too so that wnt tell you much lol. the only way to know is x mojave which wouldeither gve you a poton or a lucy. then you'll know for sure!

her sides are a very very light brown and her black is very dark... I will see if I can get a better picture of her... she is approaching 900-1000 grams I think... she was always one of our smaller girls that one day was just... huge and has been gaining weight and eating like crazy (eats 2 small rats a week and would probably eat more if offered)

Mojaves can vary quite a bit. Here are a couple I own/owned:

none of those look like that one they posted a pic of though. IMO at least. i like all those, i wish mojos were still high in value :\ they can make some awesome combos!

this is my mojave male looks very similar to yours they come in a bunch of different patterns and colors i think you have an awesome little mojave their

but if you notice, the mystics hardly have any back blushing, and most mojaves have nice blushing, i dont know.. either way its nice

He looks a little bit like a couple of the ones posted. I guess I'll just wait as he ages and try to document his color changes Maybe he'll dust out a little bit more as he keeps shedding. I do really love his gold, it's really pale and pretty. Plus his black is almost a velvety burgundy. I love his colors c:

I wish I had the space for more right now! Enchi is on my list, as well as Hypo and Black Pastel. But I'm completely full right now until I can afford another rack! :c
