| This baby is the first one I've produced, normal x yellowbelly. I know it's a female, but no one can give me an answer on if it's normal or not. She shed yesterday. Any advice would be awesome! I will also be posting pics of her sibling after it sheds. And here she's on the right. | |

| What was the pairing?
To be honest, she looks like a normal. If you see something as far as pattern or color that strikes you as "not normal " then definitely dink around and see what she produces. You never know until you breed her. Personally I do not see anything that indicates she is anything but normal.

| Pairing was a normal girl with a YB boy. Here she is with her pops She's on the left and sibling on the right (pre-shed) Momma snake Dad, picture was taken about 3 months ago (he was small when he first locked, probably 320g or so) | |

| I may be missing something, but I agree it looks normal to me. However, YB's are typically hard to ID by photo. The odds are 50/50 for each egg to be a yellowbelly. So, it isn't unheard of to have none. For example, I had a clutch of 8 eggs from a Pied X Spider pairing. All were het pieds, not a spider in the batch. Sometimes the odds just don't work in our favor. | |

| I took her to Pet Paradise for a second opinion on her gender (Animal Jungle wasn't sure) and the guy working there said she might be, but he wasn't sure. Her pattern is definitely way different than her sibling's, she also seems brighter now that she shed and she looks just like her dad. I'll try to get better pictures after she eats | |

| I'm going against the grain and saying it might be YB. Can you post more belly shots? | |

| On a side note, in the 5th picture you posted, where the two babies are both in-hand, her sibling has a CRAZY pattern.
She's a gorgeous baby, I wish I was better at picking out YB. Fingers crossed for you though!

| I honestly can't say that I know a lot about this but I would agree with Nick and Bobby, she doesn't really look normal to me. Good luck figuring it out and they are beautiful!!!

| The sibling definitely has a unique pattern! And is very light. I love the spots on it's nose. Fortunately I will be keeping one and the other is being sold to a friend who would let me use it for breeding if need be. | |
