quail and chicks?

anyone experiment with feeding there snakes quail or chicks? thinkin about mixin it up a bit but i dont know if its a favorite or even as nutritious for my bp's as a rat. thoughts?

BP's live in termite mounds and rodent burrows. You don't see many quail or chicks down there. I'll stick with rats.

I've heard of people feeding chicks before but from what I've been told, they are mostly bone and fluff, not really a good meal for a snake. I'd stick with rodents as well.
