We should see a spike in membership as I passed out a ton of cards and invited folks to join. It was funny, it wasn't until I said joining was free until most people took the card and said they would check us out. Go VAHERPS!

I did get to see some butt crack action. Stephanie pointed out this guy holding a Burmese that had the tip of its tail in a not so good spot. It happened to quick for a photo because he was moving quickly through traffic. I assume to get help

This show was pretty good. Seemed like there were more vendors than last year and a larger crowd of people. Was a little difficult moving around because of the volume of people. I only bought some supplies this time, i wish there were less ball pythons. I wish there were a limit on how many vendors with bally pythons, there displays take up so much room, im just sayng if there were less of those vendors we could have room for other vendors with different herps/supplies. If you haven't been to the local reptile expo before your missing out.

I totally wanted to go however most my friends and family are not into reptiles at all so I couldn't get anyone to go with me, and I would have been so tempted to spend money I shouldn't spend had I had gone...

It was a great time always nice to put faces with names and see people again. Picked up 8 new snakes myself. Then just had a surprise when I got home from my parents house. My pastel girl had laid but she laid 8 slugs and one good and its a boob so fingers crossed it hatches.

Grymm, slugs are sometimes a result of temps too high. I experienced a few slugs my first year, then lowered my temps and havent had a slug since. Try a warm spot around 87.

Great show. Picked up a rack. Got home and saved a hopper mouse that didn't get eaten Friday. It became Alyssa's new pet and she named it Paprika even though it's all white

Thanks Don that seems to be the info I found also, I had at one point dropped temps but had a hiccup with the thermostat so I over-corrected back to normal 90 hot spot and thinking that may have been it. Sucks but ya live ya learn.
