| David beat me to it! Definitely a black racer and a nice one too. I've heard stories, but have never experienced them chasing someone. A runner at work was telling me that he was chased by one and it really freaked him out. | |

| None of our native snakes chase people. A person may find themselves between a snake and it's escape route and this is often misinterpreted as aggression. | |
