| Spent a few hours in the field on Sunday A common five-lined skink foraging. - A Common Ribbonsnake basking. - A common watersnake basking on a beaver lodge. - A common watersnake in the surf. - - Eastern Snapping Turtles - - Green Frog - Some non-herp pics: Heard something at my feet, looked down and saw this Meadow Vole eating a snack and watching me. - A male Red-winged Black Bird - A female Red-winged Black Bird | |

| LOL amazing pictures. Only exciting thing I saw on my walk with the dogs yesterday was a Mallard Duck and 3 frogs jumping around.. the dog tried to eat all of them. | |

| Thanks all for the kind words. Most of the time my disguise is mud covered and smelling of snake musk.
Nick - I move slow and use long focal length lenses.
Steve - I've learned where some of the herp hot spots are in my area and try to hit those when taking pics.
