just seeing if anyone had any word on how the lobbying at the capitol went today. would have liked to have gone but, u know, work happens.

I was there... I just wrote a separate post about it, but it went OK. There were a lot of delegates/aides that had no idea what the bill was about, some that didn't care what we had to say and some on our side. Most importantly HSUS was ALL over the place after they somehow caught wind we were there lobbying opposing the Bill. We NEED people to show up when it goes on the docket to stop this thing and we absolutely need everyone to send letters!!!! SO IMPORTANT. Otherwise HSUS will have us beat Sad We CAN'T let that happen because there will be a HUGE snowball effect I'm afraid!

I wouldn't doubt if they were poking around here looking for a sword to wield.
